Susie,
My prayer for you tonight (Monday here in California) is that God just blesses your socks off, and those of your dearly beloved husband. Thank you for the kudos; you must know that your feedback keeps me wanting to write. God be with you on your journey today.
Love,
Chris Alba

Beautiful poem Susie. A sunset always lifts my spirits and reduces my stress levels as well.

As does your poetry.

Susie,
Your poetry is expressive and so full of love and hope. I just finished reading most of your entire blog. My husband was diagnosed in April 2009 with adenocarcinoma in his esophagus. It has spread to his bones and he has developed an underlying lymph disorder. The doctors gave him less than five years to live. We were due to retire next year. We have children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters and friends, a huge support team. This journey will come to tax all of us in the years ahead. For now, Barry is blogging about his own cancer journey, an explorer's view of life, you are welcome to visit. Although we live across the pond, maybe we can help each other on our journeys with strength and support. I would love that. Love and prayers for Hamada and for you.
"The colour of power and the reason to fight." =D

And color my world, you just did! I feel washed in the warm glow of beautiful sunsets. Color IS very powerful and meaningful, especially burgundy for those of us fighting MM. Yet another beautifully "painted" poem. Thank you with love.
