What a joy to have captured his color and the specialness of his appearance in your life, Susie... perhaps it is not the last visit at all. We shall intend a return...

Thank you Karen..It WAS rather a special three days..I hope Mr Peacock comes back once again, he seemed to like sitting on my wall and looking at his reflection in one of my mirrors, Then he would 'preen' himself, I think he thought he could see a 'friend' ahh! One of the long time villagers told me they used to have three living at the Village Public House many years ago.

How elegant...and that he ate your birdseed and some nuts! What a special gift indeed. My mother often has a flock of 7 "Guinea Hens" troop on through the paddock, linger down by the horse barn with MUCH to say about everythng, before wandering on out into the back field. Wild turkeys also, and sometimes lovely pheasants. But a peacock? Never. Oh they are an extravagance of nature and a joy to see. What fine fortune! Perhaps he will venture back your way! You took some beautiful pictures of him which also show his gorgeous colors and grand nature :-)
